Kiama is Show

Kiama Show means the smells of horses, cows, roses and veges and yes lots of pavillion and woodchop. Here are the champions roses.

The Baby Surprise Jacket got 2nd this week

Crochet 2 ply alpaca Jacket got 1st

And a new critter on the block a cinnamon Cockateil that we have bred from a pearl mother and regular father. Known as Mo! hence the mohawk they have.

So I came home with 4 1st's and 3 2nds out of 9 entries. Now to complete the last few items for Kiama.

Camel races and my entries of knitting were well placed but more tomorrow as its hard to shoot thru the cage.

Busy hands that are rarely Idle

I have been show knitting with Dapto the 1st one and picked a few new and challenging things to do. I have wanted to knit a baby surprise jacket for a while but had no need so now I feel it was a good time to try and well cast on Tuesday night and cast off Saturday night. I will knit them again but they are just for th gifting box only. I just hope we can gift it to a good home.

It is weird the shape it makes before the folding.

Coathangers for the show as well with Dapto having 2 coathanger classes one for pretty one for plain I have 2 lacy ones and a bamboo cotton one. Kiama will have either one or 2 lace coathangers if I finish the other one I started.

I had to be different and get the smocked lace kit from World of Lace andcan honestly say they were the loveliest people to deal with.

There are more things that I have yet to photograph like the Tea Cosy that is close to done and the Rahakiri sal (estonian ) is to be blocked as well. Now things are getting back on track Ill get to them.
